Fatherhood Drama Breaks Tyrese Down

Have you seen the video? Well, if you have been preoccupied with life and you haven't seen the video, you can view it right here. Check it out below; and you're welcome. Warning: Towards the end of the video there is some profanity to used.

What happened to the larger than life, "Fast and Furious" Franchise star that has him doing the ugly cry? Fatherhood Drama. Tyrese had his daughter taken away recently, as you heard in the video, and is just fed up. Fed up with the court system for punishing good fathers. Fed up that he can not see his daughter. Fed up about a whole lot of confusing things as he rants on and on.

The thing I want to focus on is why did he use Instagram as his public place to vent, rant, and as he put it, do the "ugly face" cry. Is it okay for men to cry? Of course it is. Men are taught from a young age to be tough and crying makes you weak, but that's not true. Crying at the appropriate time proves you are aware of the emotions and feelings that are going on in the inside. It proves you are not a robot and are capable of dealing with life and modeling for your children and other men on how to express yourself and still be a man.

So, it is okay for men to cry, but I believe Instagram was not the place for it; in front of millions of people to say the least. Crying alone does not make you weak, but did Tyrese look weak? In my opinion, he did. As a dad and a fatherhood advocate, I can certainly identify with his pain and frustration of missing his daughter that he had not seen in 2 months. I hope to never identify with having to pay $13,000 a month in child support, though. We get it, he's going through, but bruh, this video was not good for your image, your brand, and the Fast and Furious Franchise.

Brothers, if you are ever feeling vulnerable and want to write a social media post or post a live video. Don't. Find someone to talk to even if it's the dog. Don't put yourself out like this. If you feel you just gotta record the video to get it off your chest. So be it. Record it, but don't live stream it. This will allow you to review it first before posting it. Nine times out of ten, after watching the embarrassing video you will delete it. Let's learn from Tyrese's mistake. No live videos when you are hurting.
